The It’s Your Money program is for you if you:

What is the It’s Your Money! program?
It’s a series of 12 simple online modules addressing core money management competencies. You decide what pace to complete the modules and you do them in the privacy of your own home (or wherever works for you).
The simple truth is that managing our money isn’t magic. Most of us just didn’t get much basic education on the topic. I get it! I didn’t either!
This program bridges that gap. By the end, your stress will be reduced. You will have a new sense of control over your money. You will have the actionable intel you need to make savvy, do-able financial decisions to get out of your current situation and move forward to a better financial life.
Here are a few specifics:
- You will discover exactly what money is coming in and going out each month, using a super-easy spreadsheet
- You will create realistic plans about your money that will work for the long-haul
- You will uncover your Big $ Leaks so you know why you don’t have more left over and what to do about it
- You will de-stress by listening to a downloadable relaxation-about-money meditation
- You will set yourself up to support your financial goals, including methods not to sabotage them!
- You will get to work on eliminating your debt, using a realistic, sustainable (not binge-and-purge) method.
It does not cover areas such as investing, taxes, or retirement planning. You should see a registered planner for those areas.
What’s the Big Idea?
What if you and most people felt confident and in control of their finances? What if you and most people were savvy in their spending instead of deep in debt? What if you felt good enough about your own finances that you felt better able to be generous with your money? Or to make choices that are good for the planet? Imagine what kind of difference could this make in addressing big issues like poverty and social justice!

I believe how we collectively spend our dollars can be effective in generating social change (think: buying fair trade coffee instead of coffee grown in damaging ways; purchasing quality rather than reflexively buying yet more sweat-shop junk; supporting local businesses who are connected to their community rather than multi-national conglomerates).
I further believe that wealth in the hands of people interested in a triple bottom line of people, planet and profits is better than wealth in the hands of folks who are concerned solely with the a single bottom line of profit.
My great hope is that my business helps people care about others and care about the planet become ninjas at handling their money, and eventually, wealthy. And then … and then…. so much is possible!
